Lilian Anowey received a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University in 2020 and a Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A) degree in 2015 from Western Governors University. She also received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bowie State University in 2008. Prior to obtaining her Master’s degree in counseling, she worked as a registered pharmacy technician for more than 13 years but her calling to the field of mental health was a call she could no longer ignore.

Lilian Anowey has a passion for helping people become the best version of themselves, both physically and psychologically. Lilian utilizes various therapeutic approaches such as solution-focused, CBT, and DBT. She collaborates with each client to develop innovative techniques that are tailored to their individual struggles and goals.

Her expertise includes working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, sexual abuse, trauma, eating disorders, grief and loss and other mental health disorders. She offers couples counseling and provides techniques for bridging communication gaps and building effective communication skills with their partners. In addition, Lilian counsels individuals coping with divorce and seeking the pathway towards healing and moving on after divorce.

During her spare time, Lilian Anowey enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
