Renee Johnson, LPC, NCC
Renee is a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. She holds a Master of Education in Counseling degree from Sam Houston State University. Prior to serving clients in the private practice setting, Renee worked in the education field for 17 years. She witnessed the increasing need for access to quality mental health care during her years as a school counselor. It is her mission to provide authentic and exceptional therapy to the community.
Renee is also a military spouse who understands the unique culture and challenges of an unpredictable lifestyle. Renee works with adults, teens, and children on issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, day to day stressors, and more.
Renee is passionate about helping people through life’s challenges and transitions to achieve the overall happiness they deserve. Clients can expect to be met with unconditional positive regard in a relaxing space. She welcomes humor into the therapy process and wants her clients to feel comfortable in sharing their true selves. Her approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution focused theories. Renee recognizes the large amount of courage it takes to reach out for help. She considers it an honor to walk through this journey with her clients.
In her spare time, Renee enjoys the beach and gathers inspiration from the ocean waves. Tides change and things go in different directions. You can ride the waves you can’t control and learn to move with them. She also cherishes her family time spent with her husband of 20+ years, her son that attends the University of North Texas and daughter who is in high school. Renee looks forward to working with you!

Liza George is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Texas who is excited to work with adolescents, adults, and families struggling with the daily stressors of work, school, and life. Liza is also a Certified Anger Management Treatment Professional that works with clients aged 8 to 99 years.
